This is the week for the Danville Noon Kiwanis Day of Giving. It will be Thursday evening at First Church of the Nazarene, 2212 North Vermilion in Danville.
Kiwanis member and First Church of the Nazarene Pastor Dave Anderson reminds us there are three specific areas when it comes to awarding organizations and what they do: a focus on very young children, a focus on teens, and a focus on students.
AUDIO: As so what we look for around the community are organizations that we can come alongside and help that do most of their work based upon babies to young children, and then teenagers. So a lot of times we get requests, if they have a special project in mind. We also give out scholarships to DACC to both Danville High School and Bismarck High School.
Activities at First Church of the Nazarene begin with refreshments at 5:30 PM this Thursday the 21st. The program starts at 6 PM.
