This is the weekend for DLO’s stage production of the music of ABBA and Mamma Mia at the Fischer Theatre in Downtown Danville.
Director Jodi Prosser says, if you remember the movie, you’ll love it on stage. But the one challenging part is duplicating all the beautiful scenery.
AUDIO: Obviously in the movie, you know, it is set in these lovely Greek islands; and you get all of the scenes on the beach and all that; and that stuff’s kind of hard to do on stage. But most of it is very similar. All the songs are the same, and most of the lines are the same.
