When seniors at Seeger Memorial High School graduate this weekend they will be the latest event at the Ura Seeger Memorial Auditorium that is growing in popularity.

We have a stage that you can bring about any kind of production – whether it’s a concert, a Broadway musical, a family comic act, anything we want to…pro-wrestling. We’ve had that in here twice. We want to bring a variety of events to our community so people don’t have to travel as far, and keep it affordable and have good family entertainment.’’}

Collins listed some of the shows that have already been held there…
Audio Player{AUDIO: ‘’We’ve had ‘Dinosaur World Live’, which was life-sized dinosaur puppets on stage for kids. We’ve had all of our school musicals and band concerts and so-forth here. We started a community theater this past summer. Our first production was ‘Little Mermaid’ and we have ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ coming in July being put on by the Community Theater.’’}
A Lee Greenwood concert was also held there, and events coming up include a mystery dance theater production, glow dance, and a Broadway musical production called ‘Forever Young’.
Collins adds that more than ten years of planning went into the auditorium. He says those who worked on the project wanted to make it more than just a school auditorium.

Last weekend a Danville school of dance held its recital there. And on June 5th another Danville school of dance will hold its recital in the same West Lebanon, Indiana location.
