We are now even closer to this year’s Balloons Over Vermilion at Vermilion Regional Airport. Pat O’Shaughnessy and Jackie Vinson joined Tommy B on D102’s “The Big Show” this week. And one thing they pointed out, as Jackie states here; in addition to the balloons, they’ll be ready to show a good time to the youngsters with all the extras.
AUDIO: And so what we’re trying to do this year is bring back the activities that are so loved by our community; the Touch-a-Truck, the Inflatables, Joyful Bubbles, face painting. We’ll have lawn games; lots of activities for the entire family.
And that includes the “Amazing Giants” stilt walkers as well. O’Shawnessy says the Touch-a-Truck is always a winner.
AUDIO: Get in them, get on them, climb on them. A lot of them are open, they leave them open so the kids can get inside and act like they’re driving them. Yes, a fan favorite for sure.
Balloons Over Vermilion at the Vermilion Regional Airport will be Friday July 8th 3 to 11 PM, and Saturday July 9th 1 to 11 PM.
