The Second Church of Christ at 3350 East Voorhees will be taking part in the Global Leadership Summit this coming Thursday and Friday. Those in attendance will be able to connect locally; as well as view the main program and speakers through live casting from the Chicago Area, at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington.
As always, there will be a solid roster of speakers. And as Second Church of Christ Executive Minister Dale Deneal told Laura Williams on 1490 WDAN’s Community Connection, one of this year’s speakers will be movie maker Ron Howard. Deneal says, prior to his directing days, Howard may have been known as Opie on Andy Griffith and Richie on Happy Days; but more than anything Howard is known as someone people enjoy working with.

People want to be; in the filming community, people want to be part of Ron Howard’s films; now just because they are successful, which they are. I’ve listened to a podcast of Ron Howard, and he’s very inspiring.
