Our Vermilion County Hero for August is Matt Goodner of Bismarck. Matt serves as a volunteer Captain on the Bismarck Fire Department, a Fire Fighter in Danville, and the program manager for the Illinois Fire Service Institute online courses.
He was nominated by his wife, Brittany Goodner.
