The countdown is on with just a few days to go until the Bismarck Lions Club Fish Fry and Sweet Corn Event this Saturday. The annual Jonah Fish Fry is set for 3:30 to 7:30 this Saturday, August 6th, at Bismarch-Henning-Rossville-Alvin High School; helping the Lions Club continue their causes, such as free pre-school vision screenings. In addition, Michal Vice will display his fishing boat with its wrap advocating “Scott’s Law” at this year’s event.
Event Chair Don Evans says, lots of tickets have been sold, but there’s plenty of room for more.
Audio PlayerAUDIO: We have a sponsorship program for ten tickets. It looks like we’re right at 120 – 125 sponsors right now, but we’ll always take more sponsors up until the day of the event. It’s just a big fun day for all of the community. We have people come from Champaign, over in Indiana; down south, up north. They really help us out a lot here in Bismarck.
Evans says, please enter the high school through the south door of the multi-purpose room. He says, yes, it is air conditioned; and as always the line will move pretty fast. For tickets, call 217-304-6167, or 217-759-7465
