THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
The City of Danville would like to announce the beginning of contractor performed pavement patching operations on East Voorhees Street from Bowman Avenue to Lynch Road and on Lynch Road from Voorhees Street to Main Street. Work is expect to begin on Wednesday, August 31st and may last up to a few weeks depending on weather.
Motorists should stay alert and look for flaggers as traffic will be reduced to one lane in the immediate area of work. At times, delays could last for several minutes or more. If
possible, chose an alternate route to your destination.
This work is being completed in preparation for cape sealing and restriping of the roadway which will be completed later this fall.
