The Paxton Police Department has confirmed that a Danville man was arrested as part of an undercover operation targeting child predators that began June 23rd. Among the 11 arrested thus far, after a Paxton Police Officer posed online as a 14 or 15 year old Paxton girl soliciting sex with adults, is 37-year-old Donald O’Toole from Danville.
The Ford County Chronicle reports that O’Toole was released from Ford County custody after posting ten percent of his $100,000 bond, that the alleged activities took place between June 26th and July 2nd, and that he was arrested by the Danville Police on a Ford County warrant.
The Paxton Police also stated that five of the 11 arrested have already pleaded guilty, and that the operation is continuing.
