THE FOLLOWING PANEL WILL BE PARTICIPATING IN THE CONVENTION CAFE’S “SUICIDE PREVENTION AND AWARENESS DISCUSSION,” LED BY DR WADE, at 9 AM , SEPTEMBER 22nd, IN THE BREMER CONFERENCE CENTER THEATER
MEET THE PANEL:
Sasha Powell – Nurse Practitioner and Assistant Medical Director at Two Roads Wellness Clinic. She provides primary care, mental health, and nutrigenomic services.
Laura Reed Sallee –has a wealth of experience in utilizing her clinical skills working in a variety of settings including a Family Therapist within the Intensive Placement Stabilization (IPS) program within Community Services.
Zachary Truex – a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in working with trauma and PTSD and is TFCBT certified (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). Other areas of specialty include depression and mood disorders, difficulty managing anger, relationship concerns, transitions and life stressors, low self esteem, and LGBTQIA and gender/sexual identity issues.
Stephane Potts- has worked at Danville Area Community College for 17 years, in Job Training Partnership, Trio and Advisement & Counseling. She is currently the Director of Academic Advising & Counseling. She enjoys helping students educationally and with their mental health needs.
