Many of us remember the movie “Night at the Museum.” So how about a Halloween-themed night at the Vermilion County Museum? As museum director Sue Richter recently told Laura Williams on 1490 WDAN’s Community Connection program, Sunday October 30th, or as many call it, “Halloween Eve,” will be when you can stop by the Vermilion County Museum for some historical trick-or-treating; a “trick or treat with characters,” as Richter explained.
AUDIO: So we thought, we not use some of our characters that previously we have not used in the house next door, or we have not had them at the cemetery walk. So that’s what we’re doing. So families will be able to come; they don’t even have to bring a bag; we will supply the bag for their treats. They will come in and we will send them through a maze. And as they go through the maze, they will be able to meet different historical characters.
“Trick or Treat at the Museum” will be 4:30 to 6:30 PM; on Sunday, October 30th. The museum is at 116 North Gilbert in Danville.
