The Illinois Broadcasters Association has honored the Neuhoff Media Danville radio stations with four 1st place honors in its annual Silver Dome Awards, presented Tuesday evening at their annual conference in Normal, IL.
First place honors were received in the Small Market Radio division.
Best Locally Produced PSA: “Live United.” Written by United Way of the Danville Area CEO Mary Surprenant, and produced by Tom Barnes.
Best Commercial Produced For An Advertiser: “Pancake Breakfast.” Written and produced by Aaron Duval for the Georgetown Fire Department.
Best Light News Feature: “Year End Farming Wrap Up.” Written and produced by Neuhoff Media Danville’s News Director Steve Brandy
Best Sportscaster: Neuhoff Media Sports Reporter RJ Crace received this honor for the second consecutive year.
In addition, WDNL was named runner-up for the prestigious Station of the Year award in Small Market Radio.
