If you are planning to hit the Night of Lights Parade in Downtown Danville this Friday; well, there’s something else going on as well. This coming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; Red Mask will be presenting A DICKENS CHRISTMAS CAROL. As Jamey Coutant explained to Laura Williams on 1490 WDAN’s Community Connection; you’ll hear lots of the typical “Christmas Carol” story, but it’s actually about people, and a humorous backstage look at the theater world.
AUDIO: A theater group who are on their final run, for the 15th year, of doing A Christmas Carol. And they’ve had people who are now ill, and can’t be there. And understudies are coming in; characters are playing multiple parts. It’s very funny; people will laugh, you’re going to enjoy this.. You’re going to get the typical “Christmas Carol story,” but not in a way that you’re used to.
A DICKENS CHRISTMAS CAROL will be at Red Mask this coming Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 PM, as well as Sunday the 4th at 2 PM.
