Teutopolis, IL – Adam Niemerg from rural Dieterichwas sworn in to the new 103rd General Assembly on January 11, 2023. The ceremony took place at the University of Illinois Springfield campus beginning at 12:00 noon. The new 102nd district includes all or portions of the following counties: Champaign, Clark, Coles, Crawford, Cumberland, Douglas, Edgar, Effingham, Jasper, Lawrence, and Vermilion.
“The new 102nd includes more counties than I represented in the last General Assembly so we will continue our popular Satellite Office Hours program around the district to bring State Government to the constituents,” commented Rep. Niemerg. “I encourage people to connect with me at my Facebook page and become engaged in the legislative process by submitting witness slips in favor or against legislation.”
