Two months after being closed due to a fire, the Habitat for Humanity ReStore at 422 North Vermilion in Danville has reopened this week to very strong crowds. Speaking with manager Taylor Enos around 2 PM Tuesday (Jan 24th), she said things are just fine, and they’ll be staying right there.

AUDIO: We did a soft opening for two days last week, and we were super slammed. Probably 400 to 500 people have been through here today already, and that was just 10 o’clock to now, so just a couple hours. We’ve been at this location since 2019; we’re going to be staying here. We only lost one aisle in the store; and the smoke, our fire was a different part of the building, and there were fire walls, so this will not affect the actual building, the store.
Regular hours at Danville’s Habitat for Humanity ReStore will continue to be 10 AM to 5 PM Tuesday through Saturday; while donation hours will be 10 AM to 4:30 PM Tuesday through Saturday.
