We have talked about it before, and it is getting closer. For the first time in Danville, a “That’s What She Said” show will be held Friday, March 31st; 7:30 PM at the Fischer Theater. The local SHE SAID DANVILLE group will be presenting THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID, sponsored by Carle Health. SHE SAID DANVILLE leader Amanda Crose says this is women up on stage telling seven to ten minute stories that can make you laugh, make you cry, or certainly move you in some way; as she recently explained to Laura Williams on 1490 WDAN’s Community Connection program.

AUDIO: Share a story; whether it’s been from my background or something similar; to be able to connect to that. To say, “oh, I’m not alone.” Or “oh, yes, that sounds similar.” Or to just see some part of life from someone else’s perspective. That will not divide us. That will only unite us.
Crose has told Neuhoff Media that “That’s What She Said” shows have been popular in Champaign for about ten years, and now they are expanding to surrounding communities.
