State legislators, local pastors, the Illinois Freedom Caucus, and dozens of protestors stood across from the old Dillman Eye Care at 600 North Logan during the noon hour Monday (March 27th) to say they absolutely do not want a clinic that provides abortions moving into Danville. One of the speakers was Danville First Baptist Church Senior Pastor Paul Rebert.

Monday’s protest took place across the street from the old Dillman Eye Care at 600 N. Logan.
109th District State Rep Adam Niemerg, who represents southern Vermilion County, says it is too easy to obtain a license to give abortions in Illinois.

Mark Lee Dickson; director of Right to Life of Eastern Texas, shared information he and the other speakers have about who would be coming to the old Dillman Eye Clinic building, and where she is from.

Neuhoff Media has left a message for Prince at the Indianapolis Clinic. A check of the Indiana Department of Public Health Health Care Regulatory Services Page showed that the license for Clinic for Women in Indianapolis is due to expire on June 30th of this year.
Mark Lee Dickson is also founder of the Sanctuary Cities of the Unborn initiative. He says local legislation has been created in other cities around the U.S. to stop abortion clinics, and he intends for it to happen in Danville as well.

At a Danville City Council meeting several weeks ago, Mayor Rickey Williams, Jr spoke very strongly against an abortion clinic coming to Danville, but stated that all correct pathways are being followed and the city could not stop it. The city has, however, told Neuhoff Media that no certificate of occupancy, for a new occupant at 600 North Logan, has been applied for.
