ABOVE: Danville’s First Friday’s 2022 Easter Egg Hunt
Danville’s First Fridays Easter event, HOP DOWNTOWN, returns this Friday; very similar to last year’s, but a bit bigger and better as well. This year’s HOP DOWNTOWN falls right on Good Friday. And Community Relations Administrator Ashton Greer says when you stop by between 5 and 8 PM this coming Friday; yes, the petting zoo and free pony rides will be at the public library. And this year’s Easter Egg Hunt, which starts at 6 PM in Kresge Park, will have a new look.
Audio PlayerAUDIO: We’re making it larger, with age groups; a larger area. And four times the eggs. So we think that will be a huge improvement on the Easter Egg Hunt. And then yes, it’s very similar to last year. There’s the Easter Bunny; we have the petting zoo down at the library.
And besides enjoying everything from the petting zoo to the pony rides to the Easter Bunny himself; don’t forget to stop by something new at Temple Plaza. Danville Gardens is doing a Pansy Potting Station for the kids; where youngsters can decorate their own pots, plant their own flowers, and take them home. That’s HOP TOWNTOWN, 5 to 8 PM this Friday, April 7th; in Downtown Danville and at the library.
