Newly elected Danville District 118 School Board member Kim Corley is actually a former district employee, having worked as secretary for Northeast School. Now, while working as Communications Director for Second Church of Christ, she has been elected to the school board; having received the second most votes in the recent election, behind the other elected newcomer, Alice Payne. Corley says she is thrilled with the support she received; and is very much looking forward to helping the children, staff, and families of District 118. She says a main goal for her is working on improving communication within the district, along with academic assistance for those that need it; and those are just the beginning.
