The Vermilion Voles Vintage Base Ball Club will be holding an open practice at Kennekuk County Park on Saturday April 15 at 10:00AM. Anyone interested is welcome to attend.
The Voles club is entering its 20th season in 2023. Team members play ball as documented in 1858. Men and women, ages 13 and older, are encouraged to play. Along with honoring the early evolution of ball playing in America, vintage base ball is great exercise and an excellent way to have fun and meet new people. The Voles play a schedule of matches from April through October. The club hosts other teams at Kennekuk County Park and travels for games throughout the region.
The practice on April 15 will be held at the Voles’ home field which is located along the Kennekuk County Park main road across from the Ironwood Springs Lake Mingo Boat Access parking area.
