It was five years ago that OSF HealthCare entered the Danville community, and four years ago that they took over the Polyclinic building at 707 North Logan.
On Monday morning (April 10th), that building began a new era with the official Office Blessing and Dedication for the OSF Medical Group Primary Care Building. OSF Medical Group Vice President of Operations Marcia Cooper emphasized that the first floor especially will be very busy with OSF’s commitment to primary care, occupational health, and more.
Father Deusdedit Byomuhangi greets visitors at ceremony, Danville mayor Rickey Williams Junior addresses crowd, OSF employees join in the reading during the blessing.

OSF Vice President of Operations Marcia Cooper speaks during ceremony, Father Byomuhangi prepares to conclude blessing.
Danville mayor Rickey Williams, Junior was very thankful.
AUDIO: Anytime there are improvements made to further care for our people in our community, it’s great. And so I just really appreciate the sisters of OSF and all of the medical personnel, and all those who actually went into improving this facility for the better care of our people.
By the end of April, OSF plans for primary care to be available at the building six days a week; 7 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday, and 8 AM to Noon on Saturday.
