The Danville Barbershop Chorus has a show scheduled for this Saturday (April 29th) afternoon at the Fisher Theater. Speaking with us this past Saturday, shortly after she sang Happy Birthday to Fowler Connell at his party at American Legion Post 210, Director Marty Lindvahl explained the format.
Audio PlayerAUDIO: It’s called “Back by Popular Demand.” So we’re bringing back all of our favorites that we’ve done in the past.

And just like last year, the Danville Barbershop Chorus will have a very special guest performing with them.
Audio PlayerAUDIO: “The Other Guys” from U of I are going to join us again. They’re going to sing three songs with us, and they they’re going to sing their own set of songs; they have about six songs they’ll do on their on. You can get tickets at the door, but it would be best if you went to atthefischer.com and got them ahead of time; then you won’t have to wait in line.
So that’s the Danville Barbershop Chorus and their “Back by Popular Demand” program; 3 PM this Saturday at the Fischer Theater.
