THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT RELEASE
Danville Firefighters responded to a reported structure fire at approximately 6:00 pm on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 1330 W Williams Street, Lot 38.
The first arriving crews reported fire showing from the rear of the building and immediately stretched a hand-line for fire attack. The Fire was brought quickly under control. The home sustained heat and smoke damage throughout.
Ameren respond for gas and electric shutoff. Aqua Illinois was requested for a water line break to the residence.
Fire is under Investigation by the Danville Fire Department. No cause has been determined.
No civilian or fire department injuries were reported.
Damage Estimates are placed at $3,000.00 to the structure and $7,000.00 to contents.
Fire Department cleared the scene at 7:57 pm.
