This Saturday (May 20th) afternoon from 3:30 to 4:30, Pastor LeStan Hoskins and the Mosaic City Church are inviting the community to a Safe Summer Stroll down North Vermilion, starting at the CVS at North Vermilion at and Fairchild, and ending at the newly named Joseph G Cannon County Administration Building. Pastor Hoskins says the whole idea is, let’s prepare and pray for a great summer for the youngsters.

AUDIO: The reason why we’re doing this is we want to encourage our youth and our city, and the community, to have a safe summer. To encourage them to make positive decisions. And we’re going to pray over our youth; we’re going to pray over the programs. But we also want to give our community an opportunity to get involved in these programs.
So to learn more about summer opportunities and programs for the youngsters, come out and participate in Saturday’s Safe Summer Stroll along North Vermilion. Once again it’s 3:30 to 4:30, and everyone can begin gathering in the CVS parking lot at 3 PM. CVS will be providing water for all participants.
