A new Guns Save Life chapter, the ninth in the state of Illinois, has been formed in Vermilion County. Their initial meeting will be Monday evening, June 12th, 7 PM in Ela’s Eatery at 1111 East Voorhees. The restaurant doors will open at 5 PM, with a special menu for meeting nights.
The meetings will be held on the second Monday of each month. Jack Land will be leading this new Vermilion County chapter. He says, when he couldn’t make Champaign County’s meetings on the second Tuesday in Rantoul, he looked into starting a brand new Vermilion County chapter. Land says this will be a chance to get together, and stay informed.

Land also mentioned that the free Guns Save Life newspaper is available in Vermilion County at places that include Dunham’s Sporting Goods, RP Sporting Goods, BFF, the Nugget, Ela’s Restaurant, Gross’ Burgers, and others.
