The Georgetown Fair’s Don Hackler recently joined Laura Williams on 1490 WDAN’s Community Connection program. With the event moved up to July from August starting this year; they’ll be getting underway Saturday, July 8th; and wrapping up Saturday, July 15th. The queen pageant is at the indoor banquet facility Tuesday night, July 11th; and that’s also the day the carnival opens. Don Hackler told Laura that you can get your all-ride armbands for the carnival right now, for $15.00.
AUDIO: Armbands this year can be used Tuesday through Saturday nights. It’s really an advantage to our fairgoers that want to come out and partake in the carnival rides. Those armbands are on sale at a variety of different locations……..
