The annual Georgetown Fair Queen Pageant was held Monday night at the Georgetown Fairgrounds Banquet Center, and a young Hoopeston woman was crowned the 2023 Miss Georgetown Fair. Meghan Simpson, who this fall will be attending the University of Kentucky majoring in Biology, won the title as she competed against eleven other hopefuls.
Meghan is the daughter of Richard & Dona Simpson of Hoopeston, and the sister of 2017 Georgetown Fair Queen, Heather Simpson.
1st runner up is Katelyn Callahan.
2nd runner up is Anna Bacon
3rd runner up is Madelyn Miller
4th runner up is Haley Carlton
