State Senator Paul Faraci says he is looking forward to more than $200-million dollars in infrastructure improvements coming to Vermilion and Champaign Counties. He says the Multi-Year Plan under Rebuild Illinois includes $201-million, 600-thousand-dollars in infrastructure projects for the area. Those projects include:
- 24 miles of repaving and repairs to Interstate 74 between US-150, west of Danville, to the Illinois/Indiana border…
- 3 miles of ADA improvements and repaving of US-45/Neil Street from Springfield Avenue in Champaign to Curtis Road in Savoy…
- 76 miles of repaving and median repair on U-S 136 between Rantoul Foods and Broadmeadow Elementary School.
‘’Illinois is actually putting money where its mouth is by making these investments,’’ said Senator Faraci. The projects are part of IDOT’s Multi-Year Plan, a $40-billion-dollar investment in construction projects for the next six fiscal years.
