The Gao Grotto’s Rick Strebing says the annual boat rides day for AMBUCS kids is all set to go for Wednesday, July 26th. He says the kids will arrive as early as 9:15, and a full day of water on Lake Vermilion, and water to keep everyone hydrated, will be ready to go.
AUDIO: Well we’ve got boat rides for 55 children and their counselors. I’ve got six, seven, maybe eight boats to take these kids out. They all get a boat ride, then we bring them back in. They have lunch out there. They having Mr. Bubbles; we’re having have ice cream, it’s a great time for the kids.
Strebing says the all day activities for the AMBUCS kids at Gao Grotto will go until about 4 or 4:30.
