THE FOLLOWING IS AN INDIANA STATE POLICE RELEASE
FOUNTAIN COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Indiana announces State Road 341 will close on or after Monday, September 4 for a bridge reconstruction project between Hillsboro and Newtown. S.R. 341 will be closed at both ends of the bridge (approximately 1.52 miles north of I-74). This is between East Short Road and East 80 North. It’s expected to be closed through mid-November, weather permitting. The official detour follows U.S. 136 to S.R. 25 to S.R. 55 and back.
This contract was awarded to Milestone Contractors, LP for $2 million.
