Director of Human Resources for Mervis Recycling Matt Grandone Welcomed by Noon Rotary

 (ABOVE) On Mon., Sept. 11, the Danville Noon Rotary welcomed Matt Grandone to the
Fischer Theatre. As the director of human resources for Mervis Recycling, Mr. Grandone is
responsible for hiring employees for Mervis Industries’ recycling plants, including Danvillebased Illini Castings, a manufacturer of railroad parts. His presentation showed Rotarians how
this 90-year, family-owned, Central Illinois/Western Indiana company transformed scrap into
gold through the visionary leadership of Lou Mervis. Mervis Industries serves clients throughout
North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. On Mr. Grandone’s left is Rotary President
