THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
The City of Danville would like to announce that IDOT and its Contractor has informed the city they will have a complete closure at the I-74 roadway overpass on Griffin Street; for maintenance and inspection in preparation of the overhead bridge replacement.
Beginning Monday, October 16, 2023, Griffin Street at the I-74 overpass will be closed to all traffic.
The work and closure at this location has been scheduled to last through Monday, November 13, 2023. Motorists should use caution around the work zone and choose an alternate route. Detour signage will be in place during the closure.
