Danville District 118 may be on Fall Break October 16-20, but District 118 Human Resources will be hosting a Local Job Expo Tuesday, October 17th; 10 AM to 2 PM in the Danville High School Fieldhouse.
Assistant Human Resources Director Markesha Parker says they are looking to hire support staff to work with District 118 teachers. This would include teaching assistants, personal aides for students, secretaries, substitute teachers, along with food service and custodians.
Danville District 118 is having a Local Job Expo, 10 AM – 2 PM Tuesday, October 17th in the Danville High School Fieldhouse. They are looking to hire support staff for teachers; such as teaching assistants, personal aides for students, secretaries, substitute teachers, along with food service and custodians.
AUDIO: And so our goal will be to do some onsite interviews, and we will have some resources there. For teaching assistants, you need what’s called a paraprofessional license. And so we’ll have representatives from the Regional Office of Education there to help support people in that process. We’ll have our fingerprinting company there to get that process started.
Danville Area Community College will have representatives on hand to provide same day scheduling for necessary assessment tests.
