THE FOLLOWING IS A SALVATION ARMY RELEASE
The Salvation Army, 855 E. Fairchild St., will accept applications Nov. 6-10 for Toys for Tots and Christmas baskets. Hours will be 9 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m. each day.
Applicants must bring a valid photo ID, utility bill with the applicant’s name and a Vermilion County address, and a birth certificate for each child, and the certificate must include the applicant’s name. Applicants also can bring court documents showing guardianship of each child.
The Danville, IL Region Toys for Tots recently kicked off their 2023 campaign in front of Courtesy Dodge on Main Street.
We will have one make-up day from 9 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m. Nov. 13 at The Salvation Army.
Also, applications for bellringers for the upcoming Red Kettle campaign will be available 9-11 a.m. Oct. 19, 23 and 26. Applicants must bring a valid photo ID and Social Security card. The applications must be completed on-site.
