The annual Danville Firefighter Memorial Service is scheduled for 8:30 AM; Saturday, October 21st; at Fire Station #3, located at 1111 N. Griffin Street in Danville. Those honored for sacrificing their lives while serving Danville residents will be Albert Holmes, Albert Shanks, William Schroeder, Leo “Buck” White, and Lt. Gene Anderson.
The service will be followed by the Retirees’ Breakfast.
