The Vermilion County Joint Veterans Council’s Veterans Day Ceremony at the Middle East Conflict Memorial at Hazel and Williams in Danville featured an address about Women in the Military from U.S. Army Veteran and Vermilion County Coroner Jane McFadden.
Randy VanVickle from VFW Post 728 led those in attendance in the Pledge of Allegiance, and Bonnie Newberry sang the National Anthem. Josh Olds, Sergeant and Temporary Chaplain at the Danville Correctional Center, served as Master of Ceremonies, and Colors were presented by the American Legion Post 210 Honor Guard.
