As we get closer to everyday cold temperatures, the East Central Illinois Community Action Agency in Danville is taking applications for LIHEAP assistance. That’s the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program that can help families with electric, gas, heating oil; and other important home utilities.
Shane Huerta, LIHEAP Coordinator for the Community Action Agency, recently joined Laura Williams on 1490 WDAN’s Community Connection program. Huerta said in addition to meeting income guidelines, there are other requirements to apply.
