The Lorraine Theater in Hoopeston is hoping to soon be able to bring “first run movies” to their big theater at 324 East Main. And part of the fundraiser to make that happen is going on the next two Saturdays, in their Little Lorraine Theater at 214 East Main in Hoopeston. At both 3 and 7 PM on December 2nd and 9th, the Lorraine is offering an interactive movie party with the showing of the holiday favorite Polar Express.
Lorraine secretary Marta Pierce recently joined Laura Williams on 1490 WDAN’s Community Connection program. Pierce said the “interactive” part will start right away, and last throughout the program.

AUDIO: As you take your seat in the auditorium, that would be making like your way onto the train itself. You know, every so often, there will be something pop up that we will have you do; or, maybe you’ll sing a song. We have a couple of surprises, let’s say.
Tickets to this special fundraiser are $25 each, all being sold online at TheLorraineTheater.com.
