Roxy’s House, at 13801 North 130 East Road in the Homer area, will be having their third annual Christmas in the Barn; Saturday, December 9th from 1 to 4 PM. This year, the non-profit that provides nature and animal therapy for special needs children will be hosting a Magical Candyland Christmas, as Roxy Reed recently told Laura Williams on 1490 WDAN’s Community Connection program.
AUDIO: We always have 30 or so Christmas trees of all different themes. And, of course, we’re going to have a Barbie one this year with our Barbie Box. We have 22 foot pirate ship, Christmas pirate ship, that kids play on; that’s here for therapy all the time. We are adding our magical Candyland castle. And then the whole Candy Room this year, where kids will make their own gingerbread houses in there.
You can get tickets at the door, or go to the Roxy’s House Facebook page.
