Mural Energy has proposed a wind and solar farm for southwest Vermilion County near Sidell, and a public hearing on this possible project is set for 9 AM; Monday, December 11th; in the Vermilion County Board chambers, conducted by the Wind and Solar Committee.
Some residents have previously spoken about this proposal at County Board meetings. And County Board Chairman Larry Baughn says this is a chance for them to speak again, and for more residents to speak up on this project as well.

Baughn says this proposal is completely separate from the 13 acre community solar farm project on the Westville’s west side. That’s a Solar Provider Group project; which has been approved, but still needs a building permit.
