An auction of surplus Vermilion County property is scheduled for 6 PM; Monday, December 11th; in VFW Post #728 at 8 Pine Street in Danville. Items up for bid will be real estate properties that were delinquent for 2019, and mobile homes that were delinquent for 2020 and prior to real estate taxes. Vermilion County, as Trustee, will be offering for sale approximately 434 real estate properties, and 98 mobile homes. The bidding will start at $750.00 per item.
As Auction Manager Kim Wildhaber explains, the period for written bids ended on Monday, December 4th. So anyone who might be interested in these properties is asked to attend in person for Monday evening’s auction.
