December 18: Teen Movie Mondays. Every Monday we will show a movie in Teen Zone and have popcorn! Teens can suggest and vote on which movie we watch. 4 – 6 PM.
December 19: Monthly Teen Party: Come hang out for our teen monthly party! Have some snacks and play games! 4:00 pm in the Teen Zone.
December 19: Teen Tabletop Tuesdays. Stop by the Teen Zone on Tuesdays to play board/card games and eat snacks! Tuesdays from 4-6PM in the Teen Zone.
December 19: Tween It! Tuesdays. Fun programs for tweens each Tuesday. 4:30 PM in the Children’s Room. Ages 8-12. This week: BINGO! Come play Bingo and win prizes.
December 19: Wee Wigglers Story Time. Join us for action rhymes, stories, and songs for children ages 5 and under. Tuesdays at 10:00 AM in the 1st Floor Meeting Room.
December 20: Dungeons & Dragons. A tabletop role-playing game that allows teens to quest for treasures and fame, or at the very least hunt enemies. This program is for teens, both those who are new to the game and those who already know the best way to cleave an orc. New players always welcome! Wednesdays at 4:00 PM in the Teen Zone.
December 20: Rainbow Readers Playgroup. Socialization, play and STEAM activities for toddlers. 10 AM- 11 AM. 1st Floor Meeting Room.
December 20: STEAM Team. Activities designed to help students foster creativity and boost critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Wednesdays from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM in the Children’s Department.
December 21: Anything Tech for Teens.Introducing teens to some of the library’s cool technology, including 3D Printing, 3D Pens, Sphero Balls, Cricut, and a Flight Simulator. Thursdays at 4:00 PM in the Teen Zone.
December 21: Family Bilingual Storytime. Come join us for stories, songs, and rhymes in Spanish and English. Thursdays from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM in the Children’s Department.
Children’s Art Challenge: Send us a photo of your (child’s) art and we will post it on both Facebook and our Website. Winners will be chosen at the end of the month. Submissions must be family-friendly. This month’s Challenge is “Celebrate!” To submit your work, visit tinyurl.com/DPL-KidArt
