Practical Kinesiology out of Charleston is in Danville this week to work with Danville firefighters for the first time. The company’s James DiNaso told Neuhoff media that today’s overall non-active, push button lifestyle that we live can be hard on the body. The body can pick up bad habits. And that can rob you of balance and mobility; two things very important to firefighters.

And when you have a job like these guys have in the fire service, where they have to go out to the fire grounds and exert themselves, and do a lot of things that require physicality; we want to make sure that the body is performing optimally. Much of Wednesday’s (Dec 13th) work, at Fire Station #3 on Griffin Street, involved lower leg and ankle mobility.
