The 2024 Vermilion County High School Cheerleading competition was held this morning at Danville Area Community College. It featured the High School Cheerleading teams from each of the schools participating in this year’s Vermilion County Boys & Girls Basketball Tournaments.
The winning team of the competition was the Oakwood Comets, coached by Matte Lee & MaKenzie Gayler.
Second place was awarded to the Salt Fork Storm, with Third place being awarded to the BHRA Blue Devils. (Video from each competing squad is available below.)
The Basketball Tournament got underway last night with the opening round for the Girls teams. The Boys teams will begin play this afternoon at 3:45pm.
