THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT RELEASE
On Tuesday 1/16/24 around 8:45 p.m. Officers from the Danville Police Department responded to a report of a subject being shot at The Grove Housing Complex. Officers arrived at an address on Moore St. and spoke with a 29-year-old male victim who had been shot multiple times.
The victim was transported to Carle Hospital by medical personnel and then released later that night with non-life-threatening injuries. Detectives are still investigating this incident.
