For the third straight season, Coach Brian Russell and the Salt Fork High School girls have taken the Vermilion County Tournament championship. In a game played Friday night January 19th at Salt Fork High School, due to city of Danville water problems that moved the game from DACC, Salt Fork used intense man-to-man defense to dominate Bismarck-Henning-Rossville-Alvine 38-11. Junior Alexa Jamison led the scoring with 23 points.

In the third place game, Hoopeston Area edged Georgetown-Ridge Farm 38-33.
In the fifth place game, Oakwood defeated Armstrong 46-35.
THE BOYS TITLE, 3RD, AND 5TH PLACE GAMES TONIGHT (SAT JAN 20TH) HAVE BEEN MOVED BACK TO DACC DUE TO IMPROVING WATER PRESSURE CONDITIONS. ACTION WILL BEGIN AT 5 PM.
