A Sunday night (March 24th) break-in at Mad Goat Coffee did cause some damage, but has not affected business. In fact, Mad Goat’s Sam George told Neuhoff media just past 1:30 PM on Monday that some glass repair work was already taken care of.
AUDIO: Actually, Bacon & Van Buskirk out of Champaign were able to fix the smaller glass door today. So we actually have new glass in. And they had to put plywood up on the larger door, which is a temporary fix. Anyone who comes to our business now, or drives by; they’ll see that. The plywood will be replaced with a new pane of glass in about two weeks.
This is the main Mad Goat Coffee south location, at 701 South Gilbert.
