THE FOLLOWING IS A VA ILLIANA HEALTH CARE RELEASE
DANVILLE, Ill. – Student Veterans at Illinois State University connected with a lifetime of health care yesterday at an on-campus enrollment event hosted by VA Illiana and ISU’s Veterans and Military Services Office.
The event was an opportunity for Student Veterans to enroll directly into VA health care, America’s largest integrated health care system and the world leader in Veteran care. The numerous Veterans who enrolled at the event will now have access to VA’s top quality and comprehensive physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual care, provided by a CMS 5-star health system.
“Thanks to VA’s historic expansion of care under the PACT Act, it has never been a better time for Veterans to enroll in the care they earned and that they deserve,” said Dori Camacho Torres, VA Illiana’s public affairs officer. “We urge all Veterans to apply for care today. You earned it, and we stand ready to serve you.”
VA encourages all Veterans to apply for care as soon as they can. Veterans can apply for VA health care online, over the phone at (217) 554-5209, or in person with an enrollment expert at the Danville VA Medical Center or the Bob Michel (Peoria) VA Clinic.
