THE FOLLOWING IS A VERMILION HERITAGE FOUNDATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS RELEASE
Vermilion Heritage Foundation, April 8, 2024 –The Vermilion Heritage Foundation is excited to announce that Crystal Bivans, former Operations Director since July of 2021, has accepted the position of Executive Director at the Vermilion Heritage Foundation. She is currently serving as Interim Director and will transition into the Executive Director role seamlessly.
During her time at the theatre, Crystal has been instrumental in driving forward momentum, and since March 1 of 2024, she has become even more dedicated, carrying the responsibilities of both the Operations Director and the Executive Director. She has consistently been a positive resource for the theatre. The Board of Directors has complete confidence in her knowledge, abilities, and work ethic, and we believe Crystal will lead the organization
into a bright future.
As a counterpart to Crystal’s strong experience in operations and theatre management, The Vermilion Heritage Foundation will be hiring a Development Director to join the team who is responsible for three essential areas:
1. Financial Development/Fundraising
2. Event Programming
3. Marketing the Fischer Theatre
The Development Director will be responsible for the overall financial health of the Fischer Theatre which includes
financial operations, fundraising, successful programming, and continued restoration of the Theatre. The
Development Director must be driven, self-motivated, and an excellent communicator.
