It’s getting to be that time for the Danville Barbershop Chorus Spring Show. It will be Saturday, April 20th, 3 PM at the Fischer Theater.
Director Marty Lindvahl recently joined Laura Williams on 1490 WDAN’s Community Connection program. Lindvahl stated that this particular show, “Doo Wop with Barbershop,” will include some special guests from the state of Indiana.

Danville Barbershop Chorus director Marty Lindvahl sings “Happy Birthday” at Fowler Connell’s 99th birthday party one year ago. The Saturday afternoon, April 20th Danville Barbershop Chorus concert will be at 3 PM in the Fischer Theatre.
AUDIO: So we’re doing doo wop music, 60’s music; and we have the ensemble from Purdue, four guys called BA NA NA. And they’re going to sing a little set of doo wop music also. So it’s going to be a really fun concern, with our group and the Purdue ensemble from the Men’s Glee Club.
Lindvahl says most tickets for this show at the Fischer are between 10 and 20 dollars. Just go to atthefischer.com, and tickets will be available at the door as well.
This particular concert is a fundraiser for the Danville Barbershop Chorus.
